We are working towards establishling a membership base of over 200 active members to initiate the club and create a strong foundation, Work towards developing a clear club structure and vision to guide decision-making and activities, and lastly establish an intricate curriculum for our Private Equity Analyst and Mentorship programs.
We envision a future where our members stand confidently at the threshold of success, armed with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to secure meaningful internships within finance industry.
We are thrilled to introduce the Baruch College Private Equity Club's (PEC) Mentorship Program in collaboration with CareerSync!
Within this program, students will gain exclusive access to mentorship from seasoned peers who possess extensive knowledge of the finance industry, including investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. Our mentors have amassed profound insights into the industry through rigorous research and professional experience, making them well-equipped to guide you toward a successful career in finance. They will provide you with the essential tools to stand out in this highly competitive field.
The Baruch Private Equity Club was founded by Mohammed Tai to educate underrepresented undergraduate and graduate students at Baruch College on Private Equity principals
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mohammed is the Founder and CEO of The Baruch Private Equity Club. His passion for M&A stems from his internship experience working at Cobe Capital, Bright Roots Capital, and Industrial Succession Group. He has an interest in architecture, entrepreneurship, interior design, and cooking. Furthermore Mohammed has written and published a novel on Schizophrenia. Feel free to contact him below.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Stanley Vyrvich, our COO is a senior at Baruch College. His professional journey includes prior experience at a search fund and a summer analyst role at a regional investment bank. Currently, he is interning at The Opes Group and holds a position as a Private Equity Fall Analyst at Avalerian Capital. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Stanley is an enthusiastic golfer and a passionate football fan.
cHIEF GRADUATE OFFICER
Amadeus is an international student who previously studied international economics in Germany and
Poland. Currently, he is pursuing his Master of Science degree in Finance at the Zicklin School of
Business, and he holds the position of Chief Graduate Officer in our club. Additionally, he actively
participates in committees within the student clubs Graduate Beta Alpha Psi and Graduate Ascend.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jiyei is a senior at the Zicklin School of Business and the Treasurer for the Baruch Private Equity Club. While Jiyei previously studied in Seoul, South Korea, she worked as a business analyst at a credit rating agency. She is an incoming intern at EY and gets her CPA license after graduation. During her free time, Jiyei likes exploring museums, working out gym, and cooking.

Matthew Nuñez is the executive secretary of the Baruch Private Equity Club. He is very passionate about corporate finance, as well as personal finance, and is intrigued on how large corporations, as well as individuals, create wealth. Matthew will be pursuing a Summer 2024 internship at BMO Capital Markets as a Corporate Banking Analyst in the Leveraged Lending Group. In his free time, Matthew enjoys biking, reading, learning new languages, and finding new spots to dine in the city!

Jun Jie is the Chief Recruiting officer and Public Relations manager of the Baruch Private Equity
Club. He is a senior and majoring in general marketing. Jun Jie has experience in the early
childhood education field and direct sales experience at his family's business.
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Fatima is a senior in Zicklin majoring in Finance with a double minor in communications and data analytics. This summer she has interned with the Private Bank at PNC Financial Services. She has previously interned with BlackRock and in the nonprofit space. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and reading.
cHIEF EVENTS OFFICER
William is the head of events of the Baruch Private Equity Club. He previously interned in investment sales and real estate development, working with various institutions. Currently, he is working at Great Lakes Growth Capital and pursuing his own ventures. William helps organize events within the club and works alongside leadership to help with the various programs within the club. In his free time, William likes to take walks around the city, listen to music, and hit the gym. Above all, he loves helping people and encourages anyone to reach out to him.
CHIEF Development OFFICER
Brenda, a junior majoring in accounting with a minor in economics, currently serves as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at PEC. In this role, she spearheads member career growth and fosters partnerships and collaborations with various clubs. With prior experience interning at Bolla Oil Corporation and an upcoming role as an Embark Scholar at KPMG, Brenda is poised to make a significant impact in the field. Her keen interests lie in alternative investments and macroeconomics, particularly within the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors, and their correlation with the net-zero carbon mandate
Recruitment officer
Heiry is an entrepreneurship BBA major with a minor in political science who is passionate about brands, sales, marketing and advertising. She is the recruitment officer for PEC. Shes also a member of NYRR club- and ran the TCS marathon in 2020 and 2021 and did a half marathon for United Airlines at the beginning of this year. She does CrossFit, boxing, Powerlifting and yoga. Lastly she did MMA for almost 10 years- In 2024, she will be running once again the nyc marathon for a cause and a charity that is extremely dear to her heart.

Gianfraent currently a senior at Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business, where he is majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. His professional interests span finance, consulting, business analytics, and business development. Over the years, his career journey has taken him through a variety of roles in the finance sector, including experiences in banks, hedge funds, and startups. He is the Founder and CEO of CareerSync Consulting, a firm that has successfully helped numerous students secure internships and full-time roles at prestigious companies such as Citibank, Wells Fargo, UBS, and Google, among others.
